4th round draw

  • United’s 1-0 over Sheffield United secure their place in the 4th round draw
  • When does the draw take place and what ball number will United be?

Manchester United take their place in the 4th round draw for this seasons FA Cup after a late penalty from Wayne Rooney gave them a 1-0 victory over Sheffield United.

You may be asking yourself when the draw takes place, what number ball United will be and who United be drawn against in the 4th round.

The draw will take pace tonight at approximately 7:15pm. If you want to watch the draw live. It will be broadcast on BBC One during The One Show.

There are 42 teams left in the competition, with several replays to be played and a few ties postponed over the weekend. Once these games have been played there will be 32 teams in 4th round.

Manchester United will be ball number 19 in the drawn and I’m sure a number of teams will be looking to drawn United and a possible trip to Old Trafford.

Possible Opponents

With the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool all still in the hat. United could face a tie against one of the other big names in the competition.

Yesterday we saw both Oxford United and Shrewsbury Town pull off wins against teams from a higher league. These will two of the teams that will be hoping for a trip to Manchester.

Once the draw has been made, the ties will take place on the weekend of Friday 29 January to Monday 1 February.
