- United have been short on goals this season
- Fulham striker Moussa Dembele is being linked with a to Old Trafford
Following the arrival of Anthony Martial in the summer, Manchester United are being linked with a move for another teenage French forward in January. That man is Fulham’s Moussa Dembele.
Sky Sports News are reporting that United are keeping tabs on the 19 year-old striker ahead of a potential bid for the youngster in January.
Who Is Moussa Dembele?
Dembele joined Fulham, aged sixteen in August 2012 from French side Paris St Germain despite interest from a host of other club. Dembele became a regular in Fulham’s under-18s and won the Premier Academy League in his first season.
Dembele has represented his country at five different age groups, starting at under-16s and is currently a member of the under-20s side.
Dembele has become a regular in the Fulham first-team this season, scoring 8 goals in 18 games for the Championship side.
Its not the first that United have ben rumoured to be interested in signing Dembele from Fulham. United were reported to be interested in November 2013 when Dembele had impressed United’s coaching staff after playing and scoring against for Fulham’s under-21s.
It is no secret that Van Gaal is looking to add pace to his attack. Could Dembele be the answer or will any potential move to Old Trafford be more of one for the future.
