Joshua Andrew Harrop was born on 15th December 1995 in Stockport. Josh is an attacking Midfielder who has been a regular in Manchester United’s under 21s this season. He has appeared in twelve of seventeen games that Manchester United under 21s have played in the Under 21 Premier League this season and helped the team to the top the league with two goals. Both of these goals coming against Norwich City under 21s, home and away. He has also made three appearances for England’s Under 20s this season.
Harrop first caught the eye with a cameo appearance for the under 18s in the Fa Youth Cup in 2012 against Swansea City. He only made one other appearance for the under 18s that season. This came as a substitute in the Milk Cup against Revo Express, he scored four goals in this appearance. The following season he made nine appearances, three from the start and scored one goal for the under 18s.
Last season he made twenty four appearances and scored six goals for the under 18s and also played in all six games for the under 19s in the newly formed UEFA Youth League. He also made six appearances from the bench for Warren Joyce’s under 21s as they narrowly missed out on retaining the Under 21s Premier League.
