Last Chance For Manchester United Players To Impress Before Start Of The Season
The game itself proved to be a positive result for United, with David De Gea returning to first team action, and in the process, perfoming the odd decent save. Adnan Januzaj, who during the last campaign, had a drastic downfall in form and confidence looked to be free of worries as he scored the goal which proved to be the winner.
Paris Saint-Germain’s last outing proved to be quite the opposite, after losing to Chelsea on penalties. The French Giants have been, along with United involved in a substantial amount of transfer speculation, notably the possible departure of Angel Di Maria.
If Di Maria does leave, many United supporters will be left wondering, why didn’t a player of his supreme footballing ability succeed with United? Many feel it’s becuase of his lack of determination, some feel injury problems have caused a mishap in form. Whatever the fault is, it’s driving the winger further and further away from United.
On the other hand, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani were both previously linked with moves to Manchester United. United are on the look out for a talented striker, who will It be (that’s if anyone is signed)?
Regardless of this speculation, what has brought attention to many is the induction of youth talent. The like of Andreas Pereira have endured a positive pre season, which could lead on to a successful league campaign.
