Manchester United have today confirmed that Jesse Lingard has penned a new contract with the club. The contract will keep him at Old Trafford until 2021 with the option of a further year.
Warrington-born Lingard is a product of Manchester United’s youth academy and has been with the club since the age of seven.
Jesse made the breakthrough to the Manchester United first-team under Louis Van Gaal after several spells away from the club on loan.
He first appeared in a first-team matchday squad on November 30 2011 but was an unused substitute as Manchester United came up against Crystal Palace in the League Cup.
After loan spells with Leicester City, Birmingham City, Brighton & Hove Ablion and Derby County. Lingard is now a regular in the Manchester United first-team squad.
