The documentary will give football fans an insight it what its like to run football club. I’m the Class of 92 boys didn’t realise everything it would involve when they first talked about buying their local club.
Why Salford City F.C?
They all have strong roots in the area. Gary Neville, Giggs and Scholes played their who careers for United having come through the youth ranks. Phil Neville of course left United and played for Everton but at the time of the purchase had returned to United as part of David Moyes coach staff.
Nicky Butt played for several other teams after leaving Old Trafford. But the boy from Gorton is now back at United helping to develop the next crop of talented youngsters.
Giggs though born in Cardiff, has lived the majority of life in Manchester after moving to the city at the age of six, when his father signed for Swinton Rugby League club.
Gary Neville had his first Manchester United trial in Salford at the age of 11 and says Salford means a great deal to him, as it does all of them.
Their dream is to take Salford City F.C from non-league right up to the Premier League and you never maybe one day, face Manchester United in the Premier League.
